1998
The band is formed by Niels and Anders at an outdoor concert in Billund. Morten joins together with the two guitarist Kenneth and Thorsten at a rehearsal room in Billund. Plays the debut concert of 4 songs at Grindsted Gymnasium 10 in the morning December 18. KLoAK becomes unpopular. Use two days to record the first 3 song demo Hjortlunddambrug on a 4-track cassette tape recorder with producer Ronnie Olesen. Ronny is asked to join the band after he has shown his enthusiasm about the music. Thorsten leaves.

1999
Kenneth leaves. KLoAK qualifies to the finals in the local rock competition Vadehavsrock and plays a half hour set at Tobakkens main stage in Esbjerg. The band starts to rehears in Grindsted. Concerts at a youth house in Grindsted and an outdoor concert on a truck. The people who arranged it calls the band the day before and asks them if they need power to play. Anders carries a 3 year old child on his arm while singing Make room. Anders, Ronny and Niels becomes students. KLoAK starts playing fast. Ronny buys a new guitar.

2000
The 4 song demo Slough is recorded with producer Anders Bech in a small studio in Jelling during four days of January. KLoAK qualifies to the finals in the local rock competition Vadehavsrock. Slough is released and the 120 produced cd’s are sold. A concert with the fantastic Sacrificial in Esbjerg. KLoAK likes them. They like KLoAK. KLoAK becomes a bit popular. Morten becomes a carpenter. Ronny starts studying to become a teacher. Niels and Anders form the side project FKK and record their first ep I´m just five guys in love.

2001
KLoAK qualifies to the finals in the local rock competition Vadehavsrock. The band starts rehearsing in Vejle. The 3 song demo Splendor is recorded with producer Anders Bech during two days in Copenhagen. Three concerts in Vejle and a concert in Esbjerg. Splendor is released and gets great reviews. The 4 song demo Cock is recorded with producer Julian Falck during four days of November in Århus. Niels and Anders buy a studio and call it Tyskland. FKK record their second ep Small town flirt evolving.

2002
Cock is released and gets great reviews. KLoAK becomes very popular and is hyped by the Danish underground fanzines. KLoAK starts experimenting with their music. The band meets their heroes Düreforsög and become friends with them. Ronny marries Line and becomes farther to Gustav. The first full length A true bohemian revolutionary is recorded during 6 days of July with producer Anders Bech in Copenhagen with guests such as Nis B and Boris S from Düreforsög, Anders Bech and Anders Langhoff from FKK. Anders starts studying to become a teacher. 12 live gigs are played all over Denmark. Two of them as support for Düreforsög on their Engine Machine tour. Ronny spits the same guy five times in the face at a concert in Billund because he is so eager. He is forgiven afterwards. Anders buys a cell phone and starts writing poetry. KLoAK signs a deal with the Copenhagen based record label Drug(s)/Mighty music.

2003
KLoAK records a cover version of Björks Enjoy with Anders Bech at Musikcentralen in Grindsted. In March A true bohemian revolutionary is released in Denmark and then world wide in May. KLoAK becomes unpopular again. A 13 gig headlining tour is played all over Denmark to promote the debut album and with them KLoAK brings a great variety of homemade t-shirts, bags, paintings and badgets which they sell. The band supports The locust(US) at Stengade 30 in Copenhagen. Ronny becomes father to Agnete. KLoAK starts writing material for a new record and Kiosk is recorded in Tyskland. Ronny and Niels transcribes the song Heartbreak ramadong into a note sheet and it is performed live by the band at Ronnys music exam at Jelling semenarium in November. He passes with bravour. Niels produces a demo for the band Cellar door. FKK record their third ep Could we bear to witness love?

2004
Songs are being written and Tonser harmonia is recorded in Tyskland. Anders performs with Boris S reading their poetry aloud. KLoAK perform the song Lamburg Tony at another of Ronny’s exams. The band is rehearsing in both Vejle and Jelling. KLoAK is sacked by their label Drug(s)/Mighty music 3 days before entering the studio to record their second full length A boy getting pregnant. The record is done anyways with producer Anders Bech during 9 days in Copenhagen with guests such as Nis B from Düreforsög, Marie Eline Hansen from Træning and Anders Langhoff from FKK. Niels and Anders produces another demo for Cellar door. Ronny begins working as a teacher and KLoAK starts rehearsing at his school. The mixing of A boy getting pregnant starts together with additional recordings. Anders performs with his neighbour Norr liva. Niels and Anders sing on the song Skyhook calamity featured on The Bleeder groups album Sunrise. More mixing and additional recordings. KLoAK play one concert at Paramount in Roskilde. FKK record their fourth release TheRonniRonnieRonnyEP.

2005
More mixing and additional recordings on A boy getting pregnant. Anders and Ronny form Anders Jørgen Mogensen fucking the duke which features poetry, guitar, smiles and noise and play one concert in Horsens. KLoAK headline the first motorship metal festival at the boat Stubnitz in Copenhagen and the one-day festival/birthday party Cut the cake in Billund. Anders joins The bleeder group. More mixing and additional recordings on A boy getting pregnant. KLoAK headlines the Escho arrangement Den anden punkdør at Ungdomshuset, Jagtvej in Copenhagen. Maybe KLoAK is popular. Escho approach the band and want to release A boy getting pregnant. KLoAK says ok. Anders joins Escho. KLoAK plays support at two gigs on the Embrace the noise tour in Kolding and Fredericia. Anders joins Ordkløver. Smittekilde wants to release a 7 inch KLoAK vinyl. Ronny wants a break from the band. FKK record the fifth release We believe I am fireworks.
