Very good new album, continuing the great ideas from Here Comes The Sun while trying new things out. I do have a feel it both feels a bit disjointed at times with too much stuff being tried out and, somehow, a bit monotone because a lot of the songs have very similar atmosphere and structure. In the end I think maybe cutting the trim and removing one song would improve the flow a lot. However, it’s all solid and when it’s good it shines. Plus the the final three tracks steal the show. What a finale!

Klone sounds similar to Tool in Black Days, that´s true, but they do not copy Tool at all. Anyway, having influences of such a great band makes them really good. [2]

Black Days is the best record of 2010. In fact, I don't like their previous works, escpecially early "stoner nu metal" (or smth like that) period with weird primitive sound. They've been getting more and more progressive from every album to next, and the last transformation to progressive groove metal with stoner influence and some minor jazz overtones was really the greatest and most significant. When I've entered their myspace after listening to the previous works and clicked on the Rite of Passage, my first thoughts were "Damn, I don't get it after first audition! O_o". At that time I didn't know that in this particular case complexity was a sign of a masterpiece... P.S.: cowboy-fresh, it's not "as you say in your country" - it's from the Bible.

wisand, Klone, a clone of Tool? that's bullshit, both bands are brilliant and they don't resemble each other at all, in fact, they are closer to Hacride or Gojira than to Tool.

I see comments like: "Klone? hmm clone of Tool ;p" And I see why great bands like this are not popular... I'ts not the music, it's the ears of who is listening ...as we say in my country: "you don't throw pearls to a pig"
