Biography
There are apparently (at least) 2 Kyle Butlers currently on Last.fm, so if you have any information on the second (or third), please post it. Currently Last.fm doesn't support separating artists who have the same name, and Kyle Butler is a pretty common name.
The one in the picture is a traveling singer-songwriter from the U.S. The 11 songs which are his can be found listed as part of the album "It'll Never Come Again." The other songs which aren't on this album don't belong to him. You can download his music and find out more information about his exploits at http://www.kylebutlermusic.com
Now, his real bio.
After two years of trying to "make it" with his band in New York City, Kyle Butler got sick of it and quit. He sold all of his stuff and embarked on an ambitious trip around the world with his wife and a tiny classical guitar. He spent the first half of 2009 backpacking through SE Asia and working on the songs that he would eventually record on his debut solo album.
Recorded entirely on the internal microphone of his Macbook, the 11 tracks on "It'll Never Come Again" span his musical career from his college days in Athens, Ohio to his frustration in New York City to his brief but influential stay in Cambodia. The album was released on his website kylebutlermusic.com on Christmas, 2009. Kyle is currently living and playing in Gunma, Japan, but plans to leave for China and India in the fall of 2010.
