Anybody reckon this influenced the band Lightning Bolt? I can see some similarities

Fantastic closer. Monster groove with fucked up vocals. A great trip through hell.

There was a time 15 years ago when I was obsessed with this track. It's not the heaviest song on Blues for the Red Sun, nor is the one with best groove, but that intro build-up is ferocious. When John shouts "yeah" and the main riff drops it is an epic moment. A couple bars later the bass ups the ante. The distorted effect on the vocals makes them even more visceral because they can't be understood. The last third of the track is deeper and more psychedelic than the rest, ending in a crescendo of delay effects. Nick Oliveri's contributions were hugely important to the Kyuss sound, but he wasn't really one of the songwriters. This track his completely his baby, and it's a beast.
