Biography

Lead Horizon (formerly The Lead Horizon) — Russian trap metal/rapcore/nu-metal girl-band from the 3rd most populous city in Siberia and Russia - Novosibirsk. The idea of creating an all-female rock band came to Irina Tararova and Anna Epachintseva in 2014, and the group was practically formed in the first half of 2015.

First line-up (2015-2019):
– Irina Tararova – guitar,
– Anna Epachintseva – bass,
– Ekaterina Karpova – drums,
– Polina Delenda – guitar,
– Lina Sovetova – vocals.

At the time of the band's creation, none of its members had yet reached the age of eighteen.

The band initially focused on creating their own material. The members demonstrated high artistry and performance skills for their age, and the band became a promising discovery for the Novosibirsk music scene.

During 2016-2017, the band composed a number of compositions (at least six), three of which were recorded as demos. The compositions were performed in the style of hard and heavy, with elements of blues rock, with lyrics in English. During this period, the main features characteristic of the band's further work were formed: the relative simplicity of the music, the large role of vocals, an emphasis on energetic delivery during live performances.

In the summer of 2017, with the first online performance in the band's history, the collaboration between The Lead Horizon and the Novosibirsk studio BBA Company began, on whose facilities all the band's new tracks will subsequently be recorded.

The band performed live infrequently, almost exclusively at relatively large local events and competitions. The greatest success in this regard was The Lead Horizon's participation in the qualifying rounds of the international Emergenza festival in January-April 2018 in Novosibirsk, where the band reached the semi-finals.

These were practically the last performances of the first line-up. In the winter of 2018-2019, Karpova and Delenda left the band for personal and creative reasons. The only recording from the first period of the band's existence that is still in the public domain is the track Runaway from Hell.

"One and a half" line-up (2019-2020)
By the spring of 2019, a new line-up of the group was formed, changing its name to LEAD HORIZON.

The one and a half composition (2019-2020) included:
– Irina Tararova – guitar,
– Anna Epachintseva – bass,
– Lina Sovetova – vocals,
– Lyudmila Barabanova – drums,
– Victoria Adashkevich – guitar.
