Emmanuel Hubaut , aka the Earl of Eldorado , and William Lamy, alias Goliam , founded The Black Teats at the age of 13 years in the attic of the artist Joel Hubaut in Normandy in the early 1980s. The duo signed with the French label Boucherie Productions to record the title "Crazy Horse" on the compilation " The Polling" . Accompanied by Marcus on bass, The Black Teats released their first album " Fauvism and reminder " in 1990: pieces of rock / new wave Dadaists and delusional very well received by the press. Then they recorded the second album " Wheelbarrows " in 1991 with a new bassist Eduardo Leal de Gala.
The benefits become supercharged . A hundred concerts in France , in Europe, the Eastern and the United States leave strewn plûmes , sugars , steam incense, saturated and spectators turned upside down and fascinated decibels rooms.
The Black Teats leave Boucherie Productions, Nicolas Barrot (drummer since 1991) left the band and was replaced by Jerome Sudan. They recorded the album concept " 12 dead heads ", released in 1995. A much more industrial and violent album and careful production (signed Amadou Sall, ex Treponem Pal) . The covers of the first two albums were produced by Joel Hubaut . 12 covers " 12 dead heads " are made by 12 renowned contemporary artists (including Joel Hubaut , Ben, Orlan, Fabrice Hybert , Daniel Spoerri , John Giorno… ).
After the release of this album , Goliam also left the band to raise her daughter , Marussia . On tour , The Black Teats occur with human- object (created by Made In Eric ) that serves as a microphone stand . In 1998, one of the band's influences , Christian Death , takes a piece of Teats Black Washing head under the title of the album Washing Machine Pornographic Messiah.
