IMO: it's their worst, but it is a good record. It's a grower, took some listens.

never cared for LoG that much for many years, but I actually kinda like this album.

I really like this album more and more each listen. Previously, my favorites were Wrath, Ashes, and Sacrament. The second half of the album is even better than the first half, full of classic LoG breakdowns and head-bangers. Per usual, the production sound is amazing, but this is hands down my favorite of their guitar tone. Drums sounds great, and Art does a killer job filling Chris' ginormous shoes.

This band is so damn consistent. Their sound has matured over the years, but even 20 years after New American Gospel it's still easily recognizable as the same band. I'd put this album about on the same level as Sturm & Drang. Not their best (I still give that to Ashes of the Wake, with As the Palaces Burn right behind it), but a solid, quality album which I like better than Sacrament, Wrath, and Resolution. Favorite tracks are the first three. New Colossal Hate seems pretty popular too, so maybe that one will grow on me. Overall I'd give the album an 8/10, but that will probably change as I listen to it more

Pretty good, I'd rate the album 7/10 as a whole, which places it just above "New American Gospel" and "Resolution" for me. "LOG" sounds a bit like a mix between Ashes, Wrath and Sturm with the vibes I'm getting with this beast. "Resurrection Man", "Routes" and "Memento Mori" the standout highlights for me! \m/
