Biography
Laura Põldvere (born August 30, 1988) is an Estonian singer perhaps mostly known for representing Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 as part of the girl group Suntribe. Laura started her career in 2005, when she was participating in Eurolaul 2005 with the song Moonwalk. Moonwalk came second, but Laura won the contest as the member of the girl group Suntribe. Suntribe represented Estonia in Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song Let's Get Loud. Laura also took part at "Eurolaul 2007" for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, her entry Sunflowers came third. In September 2007, Laura released here debut album Muusa and started studies in Berklee College, Boston U.S., putting her music career on hold. In 2009, she was back by entering the new format Eesti Laul as a solo singer in hopes of representing Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, her entry Destiny came third. Her second album Ultra was released in December, 2009.
