Biography
Laureate Sky is EBM/Futurepop project from Spain (Madrid), that started in 2012.
Jose Manuel Estereoradian and Chema Kradalien had a project, called Devout. After only one release "Love For The Unusual" (Mutant-e Records, 2011) and lots of concerts with bands as known as Project Pitchfork, Leather Strip, And One, Larva, Jafi Marvel, ITCN, Brain Over Dust or La Broma Negra, they decided to finished Devout and to start from scratch with a new band, called Laureate Sky.
Laureate Sky is music with powerful rhythms and industrial sound, mixing Techno and Electro and offering great melodies, either vocal and instrumental. Their lyrics are inspired with everything related with the fact of being human and its reality.
They are now starting to be well known and their first reviews are being really good because of their personal sound and the originality of their proposal.
They made their debu on the Festival Melodías de Sombras 2012, with a very well and warm response from the public.
In October 2012 they released their first single, “Fire In The Rain”, coproduced by themselves and French-Spanish producer Big Toxic. This single was quickly well accepted by media and fans, so huge expectation was created in relation to the band.
Some compilations started to show their work: "Festival Melodías de Sombras" (Spanish), "Apocalypse Don´t Come…We Are Still Stomping VOL 3" (Mexican) and Radio Body Music "Body to Body" (German)
Last March the 16th of 2013 they shared stage with the very well know and respected Spanish band Terrolokaust and the also respected mexican band Hocico (as a part of their European tour “El último minuto Tour).
2014 they have been recording their first and awaited first album with celebrated Spanish producer David Kano (Cycle, Kracovia…), to be released during 2014.
In this March, 2014, they share cartel together with Solitary Experiments and the big VNV Nation to his step along Spain during the tour "Transnational Tour" in Barcelona (7/03/2014) and in Madrid (7/03/2014).
At the end of March they are registered by the promoter Sturm Promotions. Modal of the national and international music.
On May 17 they share cartel together with the Frenchmen K-Bereit in the Coffee The Palm of Madrid and confirming again seize expectations that exist on them.
On May 15 and May 16, 2015 they share cartel in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, together with the Spanish group Terrolokaust and the Germans S.I.T.D.
On May 3, 2016 they throw his awaited disc " The Way without Fear " produced for Laureate Sky and David Kano.
Laureate Skys gives name to a new concept of national (and also International) electronic music.
