Lee Sankey was born in London, England in 1970. Principally known for his harmonica playing, he is also a, songwriter and guitarist. His band, The Lee Sankey Group, which toured all over Europe up until 2004, featured a core five piece band with the addition of a three or five piece horn section. Stylistically Lee’s music is a blend of jazz, roots and funk elements mixed with blues ideals.
