Biography
Leon the middle name of the artist's government name and Coles the last name of the father was the combination of a new person, a new style, a new outlook on music. Leon Coles is the alter ego of the over 10 year run of the flashy rapper music that this artist (under a different stage name) has pursed in his career. As a guitar apprentice to Mikey Hendrix; Leon began to find that the world of music is much larger than just hip hop. Leon and Mikey Hendrix eventually formed a Rock/Hip Hop Group Rockstar Mafia becoming the new odd couple of Duo's. In the process of recording the Rockstar Mafia album, "Growing Pains", Leon released a side project and debut album "Lover's Block". The album came about when Leon experienced a vast period of writers block and he notice that the songs he composed we all based around the universal subject of relationships. Needless to say when he hit the scene with his fedora and guitar he gave a new outlook of what a rapper could look like. Many confused him with a singer, but the music matched up to what they were expecting. Leon Coles was born in Roanoke, Virginia and plans on expanding to more cultured parts of the world with his music.
