Biography
Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain (abbreviated for simplicity as L80ETC; previously Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain (L70ETC), Level 60 Tauren Chieftain, and originally Tenth Level Tauren Chieftain) are a comedic metal band formed by Blizzard Employees.
Their lyrical content covers mainly the Warcraft lore but they have recently begun to cover Diablo and Starcraft lore too.
The band often appears at Blizzard events, and their in-game incarnation, The Tauren Chieftains, performs at the World's End Tavern in Shattrath City every hour, on the hour. They also perform a 3-minute concert in Blackrock Depths' Grim Guzzler at 8pm server time.
While they have not released any studio records, three of their songs (Power of the Horde, I Am Murloc and Rogues Do It From Behind) are available to download on the band's MySpace.
