1) Lightwave was founded in 1985. This is one of the few French groups which aim at using electronic equipment in order to create original instrumental music that transcends the categories usually employed by the genre.
By basing themselves on an excellent knowledge of their tools, from analog synthesizers of the first generation to the most recent samplers and computers, the musicians of Lightwave have always concentrated on acoustic research and the creation of musical climates through constantly changing resonances.

2) Lightwave are a female fronted pop/metal from South Coast, UK. They self-released their debut EP 'Dark Cycles' in February 2022.
