Lilac Kings are an indie/post-hardcore rock band based out of Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The band consists of Blane (guitar), Cam (drums), Dylan (vocals/guitar), and Mate (bass). They cite some of their influences as bands such as: Dance Gavin Dance, Pianos Become the Teeth, A Lot Like Birds, Tides of Man, Artifex Pereo, Sianvar, Makari, mewithoutYou, Copeland, Young the Giant, Underoath and Circa Survive. They have also noted that the Grammy-award winning song, “Smooth” by Santana feat. Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 is their "strongest single-song-based influence on writing and composition." Their debut album, “What Brings Us Back” was released on November 3, 2017 on We Are Triumphant Records.
