Lisa Hartman, born on June 1 1956 in Houston, has had most of her fame come from her appearances in soaps, mini series and TV films. She has also recorded four solo albums and has done a few guest appearances - most recently in a duet on one of her husband's albums. Lisa married country star Clint Black in 1991.
Lisa has had a long career in TV, and the first role that really put her in front of the eye of the audience was during 1982-86 when she starred in the US soap Knots Landing; first as singer Ciji Dunne, and later as Ciji's "double", Cathy Geary. Lisa's eponymous third album contains the songs that were featured in Knots Landing. Lisa has also had major parts in "Roses Are For The Rich", a Sidney Sheldon novel adapted for TV, and "Dazzle", from a novel by Judith Krantz (who also wrote f e "Mistral's Daughter"), a story about love and greed where Lisa plays against Bruce Greenwood (from "Nowhere Man").
