1) Living Dead is a gothic/metal/industrial/rock band.
Living Dead was originally formed in 1993 by Daniel Devill, Gabriel and Loki as a thrash metal outfit. Living Dead has evolved through the years; becoming a death metal band for a short period of time in the mid 1990s, and then becoming a horror punk band in the late 1990s, and finally becoming a gothic industrial rock band around 2003. Throughout the years Living Dead has gained additional musicians; Judas joined as a drummer in 1999 to replace their former and by then deceased drummer, Faust joined in 2002 as a guitarist/programmer adding an electronic element to the band and pushing them in a more industrial direction, and Six finalized the line-up in 2006 joining as a live keyboard player. Living Dead has released several E.P.s and full length releases. Their most ambitious project: a double CD release, Blind and Vision, was released in 2006. In 2008, they released their latest offering, America the Beautiful, while on tour with Hanzel und Gretyl. All of Living Dead's releases are recorded and distributed independently by the band.
Based in Toledo, Ohio, Living Dead regularly plays to crowds of 500 or more and has shared the stage with bands such as Danzig, The Misfits, Mindless Self Indulgence, Mushroomhead, Mortiis, Chimaira, The Agony Scene, Dope, The Autumn Offering, Bobaflex, Himsa, Trivium, Dog Fashion Disco, Tub Ring, Crossbreed, Wednesday 13, Lennon, Bozo Porno Circus, VAST and Slaves on Dope among others. Living Dead consistently gives a high energy performance with political and social commentary.
Living Dead regularly plays at Club Bijou, home of their annual Halloween concert festival, The All Freaks Halloween Ball.
