Biography
Longineu Warren Parsons III (born February 16, 1980) is the drummer for rock band Yellowcard and is now the only remaining full-time member of the band from its original line-up. Aside from his involvement in Yellowcard, he is also in the group LPMD; Longineu Parsons and Miles M. Davis, LPMD is a hop hop group based out of Los Angeles. His nicknames include LP, L Peezy, Da Pizz, Da Pizzle, Pizzle, and Animal (also the name of his drumset).
Longineu has been playing the drums since he was two years old; he played with his father in the Longineu Parsons Ensemble. LP has two pet snakes and a pet lizard named Sharon, Ozzie, and Spike, respectively. Besides playing with Yellowcard since the band began, he has also recorded an African-Jazz CD with his dad called Tribal Disorder that is selling on iTunes. Since Yellowcard went on indefinite hiatus, he has started to play for Jacksonville, FL rock band Bound. He currently uses DW/Pacific Drums and Zildjian Cymbals.
