Biography
Los Pogos is a Romanian punk-rock band formed in 2002 in Cluj (Kolozsvár) by Zsolti (bass guitar)and Levi(guitar). They started to perform in 2003 in small clubs for a small audience. But after a very short period they became one of the most famous punk bands in Transilvania (there are very few :). The band was invited to play in some major eastern-europe festivals, like the slovakian Punk Island Festival, the Hungarian Rockmaraton etc. In 2004 the band recorded a demo with 8 songs, but in a very „homemade” quality. The second tentative of recording was in 2005, Los Pogos recorded a live demo, which, in their view was better, but not enough.
Now, in 2007 they plan to record a good-quality record with all songs.
New album coming sometime in 2008, with some old re-recorded songs and some new ones…
Los Pogos has restarded its activities as of 2024, and are holdign concerts in Cluj and Timisoara, You can keep track of their concerts in their facebook page!
