"I do not like the idea of background music. Background music cannot be considered an independent piece of art as it requires foreground by definition, be it video, performance or any other act. All of the music I present to you is written as foreground, to be listened to with great attention. Of course, the good thing about ambient is that it can be as background as it is foreground, so in the end you decide what works for you best at the moment."
