Biography
Lucifer Star Machine are violent straight in yer face Rock'n'Roll, kicking off like a bare knuckle fight between Motörhead, Ramones and Gene fucking Vincent.
They first emerged on an unsuspecting public with their debut single “Death Baby” on their own Black Tongue Records (co-produced by Rat Scabies, formerly of The Damned). They were immediately snapped up by German Independent label, Noisemaker, with whom they released their first album “Fire In Your Hole” to critical acclaim.
They have since toured Europe and the UK incessantly, building up their fan base and tightening their crotch-kicking sound. In all, they have played over 100 gigs in more than 10 countries. As well as headlining, they have shared stages with such established acts as Deadline and Demented Are Go; winning over new audiences as they went. Their gigs are legendary.
In 2008 Lucifer Star Machine went into the studio to record their second album. With “Street Value Zero”, the band have recorded their finest collection of songs to date; hard-hitting, abrasive, yet catchy. With great slices of steaming riffs, screaming guitars, thumping drums, yet sing-along choruses, this is set to be a future classic.
Street Value Zero has been release in Europe in April 2009 by Nicotine Records on CD and by Tornado Ride Records on vinyl. The US release via Zodiac Killer Records is scheduled for August 2009.
