Biography:
Six years after the release of LYNN ALLEN's debut album 'We Laugh At You'the Iowa group issued the 'Panorama Park' album, Billy Peiffer was the sole remaining member of the group that had cut the debut album. Joining him in the new endeavour were guitarist Mark Watson, bassist Barry Vestel and drummer Tommy Guild.
A new, self-titled album appeared in 1992 (sometimes referred to as the 'Pink Album' in deference to the cover) with the band now including the aforementioned Guild, guitarist Terry Murphy and bassist Johnny Williamson.
Swedish Megarock label snapped up LYNN ALLEN for the amusingly titled 'Petrified Ice Cream' set and issued it through their Stars On The Rise imprint. Peiffer retained Murphy and Williamson but had recruited original drummer Bob Boyd. At the same time the German label Long Island re-issued the rare 'We Laugh At You' album on CD for the first time.
Ten years passed and Lynn Allen emerged on the UK Escape label with "And The Horse You Rode In On". A lttle more than a year passed and Lynn Allen releases "Nine" on 543 Records.
