“At Lystra a man was sitting who had no strength in his feet, lame from his mother’s womb, who had never walked…”
The innovative and passionate band Lystra’s Silence is devoted to proactively proclaiming the truth that an entire city had rejected, but that had also given power to the faith of a single crippled man. Through the five years that they have played together, a unique sound has matured which grasps their audiences. The group brings listeners a taste of the joy experienced in having been crippled, but now standing—the richness of life that comes from knowing God. Lystra’s Silence is characterized by a representation of diverse musical backgrounds and influences that have been unified by the hand of God to create a compelling testimony to His glory and goodness. Lystra’s has united with other groups with like passion and purpose, having performed with Delirious?, Sonicflood, Plumb, Smalltown Poets, Pillar, The Supertones, Tree 63, Grits and Skillet. The depth and quality of their signature sound, however, sets them apart in modern Christian music.
