Biography
MK Omega began in the spring of 2009 when Jonathan and Jack joined together with Dan and Mark. Jonathan and Jack had been playing together for the past 7 years in various musical incarnations; while Mark and Dan had only played together for the first time earlier that year.
The Band immediately went into the studio and began writing and recording for what would ultimately become their debut album "MK Omega". Over the course of the that next year they continued to write and record.
The musical styling is a mixture of old and new; in the realms of rock, alternative, progressive, and metal featuring a 3 guitarist/vocalists and drums with each member contributing to the unique sound that has become MK Omega.
On April 19th, 2011, the band digitally released the debut full-length, self-titled album. The album is the result of 2 years of collaboration. During this time, the groundwork for many future endeavors was laid.
MK Omega prides itself on a robust backend promotion and production "machine". Aside from the crafting of original music, the band is responsible for all electronic collateral, engineering, social networking, and the establishment of the independent record label, Una Mas Records. Also, the band receives regular airplay on internet radio including the Buster Americana show (www.busteramericana.com).
