The New York / Brooklyn based Muet is a wistful electronic duo comprised of songwriter Akio Akashi and vocalist/lyricist Shoko-latte. The two have been collaborating on their own unique brand of downtempo pop since the turn of the century. Nestled in Akio’s downtown Hifonic studio the Japanese-American musicians blend lush melodies with gentle vocals on intimate songs about the delicate balance between city life and sanity.
