MADARA is a visual kei indies band with a bit of a dark influence. There often seems to be a black or dark theme depicted in their songs, style, and visuals.
This band is one of the few that has lost a vocalist, but continued on to keep their old fans and gain many new ones as well. They also continued to tour, and the band suffered very little during the transition of frontmen.
BIOGRAPHY
MADARA was formed in June of 2004 by members Hina, You, Yuki, Sasaki, and Ituki. This lineup was a familiar one, as all of the members save Ituki had been in the band Ｌυτёη∀ before forming MADARA.
Soon after forming, on August 26 the band performed in the Takadanobaba area and distributed copies of their single Akai Ito free of charge. It was limited to 100 copies. On the same day, another single entitled Ze≠mare was also released and could only be bought at their concerts.
September and October brought many more concerts for MADARA, along side bands such as Babylon, Fatima, and more. After staying so busy during those two months, November saw another release for the band, the maxi-single 3.1415926535···.
In 2005 MADARA toured in March and April, and In May appeared on an omnibus CD released by SCUBE. However, May brought an unfortunate event: Hina and Ituki left the band. They took a short break from lives, but picked up again with new vocalist Shuri and began to tour in August. October came with the release of the maxi-single Ware Kami Akiratan and November gave MADARA their first one man live. They released their first mini-album on December 12 and it was limited to 1000 copies.
MADARA kicked off 2006 with the release of the single Boukyakou no ai at the end of January. From then on the band was busy with live after live; Yuki and You even participating in a session band. In late August the band released their second mini-album, Revolver and did a few lives to support its debut. After a short break in touring they continued their shows, and Yuki appeared in another session band. Their continuous lives ran into 2007, and the year looked to be promising. Unfortunately, despite the great way they kicked off the new year, MADARA disbanded, performing their last live on April 6 at Holiday Shinjuku.

2. MADARA (Madara Fogelmane) is a Latvian cellist & singer who will participate on Supernova (Latvian National Final for the Latvian entry on Eurovision) with the song Esamība and she will try to represent Latvia in Eurovision Song Contest 2018 who will be held on Lisbon, Portugal.
3. Madara is a rapper from Delhi, India who is known for speaking out bluntly about social issues, contemporary topics and hypocrisies. He started his career towards the end of 2019 with the song "Mareech" and became popular with his recent track "Tukde-Tukde Gang ?".
His music brings forth the brutal, despondent realities of the society. Such is the nature of his music , self and socially aware , as it is sarky.
Penetrating through the fundamentals of hip-hop which generally have been gang-violence, poverty, riches, self-praise, he has found a way to breathe life into it with his conscious rap.
He aims to give his listeners a reason to believe in hip-hop as a culture again which rose from the struggles and has been known to be a form of social activism/expression.
