You Take Me Up is internet sensation Madi Lee’s first original song. It is an uplifting and positive rock ballad that Madi dedicates to her millions of YouTube fans for their love and support of her music.
Just 14 years old, Ohio native Madi Lee has taken YouTube by storm (29+ million views!!!) with her cover song videos. She’s even appeared on the Today Show, singing to millions more.
Madi Lee says “I'm a pop singer with a little bit of rock and soul, I'm 14 and all I want to do is sing” And sing she does, with dozens of videos to her credit.
When talking about her 29+ Million + YouTube hits and well over 100,000 dedicated fans, Madi says,
“Somehow, other people out there found it, and they really liked it!” “I was shocked, but it was pretty cool that strangers heard me sing and really liked it. So we decided to post a few more, and it just kept growing from there.”
“I love all kinds of music, so it’s really fun for me. As far as the videos, I learn lyrics very quickly, so I know what the song is about and then I work with my mom and my sister and we come up with ideas for the videos.”
In addition to being her first original digital song release, You Take Me Up will be featured in the upcoming multi-media rock musical The Answer. The Answer features musical collaborations from musicians and singers from 18 countries, and will be performed in several languages.
