Maja Keuc (born 16 January 1992 in Maribor, Slovenia) is a Slovenian singer who represents Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with her entry "No One".
Maja shot to fame in Slovenia when she participated in the show Slovenija Ima Talent ("Slovenia's Got Talent") in 2010. The second place in the show caused her to be very sought after and also resulted in involvement in a studio album. She has been called the Christina Aguilera or Anastacia of Slovenia. But in the face of such comparisons, Maja Keuc smiles and shakes her head. Now, she will prove it to the world in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
Maja Keuc performs the song No One, an English version of Vanilija for Slovenia in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. The music is composed by Matjaž Vlašič, with lyrics by Urša Vlašič.
Maja Keuc has participated in musicals such as We Will Rock You, and is a former member of the local rock band Bugs. She has furthermore worked with genres such as soul, jazz and blues, where she found herself very comfortable.
She is described as a self-critical girl, with both feet on the ground and a firm belief in the good in this world.
