There are many artists with this name:
1) Alternative / city pop singer-songwriter Maki shares his music to the world with easy and melodic tunes despite his songs being heartbreaking and painful. His biggest 2023 song “ Saan?” has brought him to different places in the Philippines, and has captured both local and international audiences. Penning Tanong EP that put him to where he is, another question is posed - where will he go next?
2) MAKI is a former BEMANI vocalist who contributed from 2001 to 2009 to a variety of genres and songs, almost all of them exclusively for either GuitarFreaks & DrumMania or pop'n music. In the latter, she is best known for her series of KAYO songs with Hideyuki Ono (小野秀幸), under his 熱帯マジ-SKA爆弾 alias. Outside of BEMANI, MAKI has released several albums of her own. She also performed the opening theme, い～じゃん！友情, of the TV anime series Doujin Work. She is also a prominent vocalist on the EXIT TRANCE label.
3) Maki can also refer to the completely unrelated producer affiliated with the Clothes Horse Records label out of Saskatoon, Canada. Most noted for production of the Epic and Nomad album, his discography includes collaborations with artists such as soso, Neila, Nobs, Escape Artists, Audio88, MC Homeless and others.
4) Maki is an alias of vocaloid producer GizenshaP, notably for their "Nostalgia for Nothingness" series
