Biography
Mambotour is the joint venture of Pier Bucci and Argenis Brito.
The duo currently lives in Berlin, Germany. Both began experimenting with electronic sounds in the late 90s.
Argenis Brito already set high standards for the complete genre of latinotronics with his productions for Señor Coconut, Pink Elln, Atom or Chilean superstar Jorge Gonzalez.
Pier Bucci's first release can be listened to on the compilation 'Austral' on the Chilean label Ruta 5. In 1999, he founded the project Skipsapiens together with his colleague Daniel Nieto. In 2000, during the same period of time the production of the Mambotur songs occurred, he released an album of concrete music entitled 'Music for Architecture'.
With their releases on the Frankfurt based label Multicolor Mambotour made their breakthrough in the European electronic music scene.
