There are at least four artists that go by the name Mammal.

1) Mammal are an band from Melbourne, Australia featuring Ezekiel Ox (vocals, formerly of Full Scale), Pete Williamson (guitar), Nick Adams (bass) and Zane Rosanoski (drums). They formed in 2006 and have quickly built up a strong following based on their debut self-titled EP and intense live shows. In 2007 they released their debut album "Vol 1: The Aural Underground", which was recorded live at Melbourne's Evelyn Hotel. In 2008 they released their first studio album, "The Majority". In October of 2009, Mammal announced that they had split up, releasing the statement: "Due to long standing personal, political, musical and business differences, Mammal has decided it cannot continue and is no more…". After the split, Pete and Zane formed a band as Black Devil Yard Boss, and Zeke as Over-Reactor. In August 2017, they announced they're back as Mammal after a jamming session. "It's been a while – Mammal jammed the other day for the first time in forever and it felt REALLY good. Like riding a bike, very fast, so we are playing a show to see how THAT feels."

2) Mammal is an experimental noise operation run by Gary Beauvais. Most of Mammal’s releases are on the Michigan based label Animal Disguise. http://www.animaldisguise.com/mammal/
