Biography
Francesco Giannico, a.k.a. Mark Hamn, is a young experimental and eletronic artist born in southern italy. Graduated in "Musicology and Musical Heritage" at the University of Lecce with a thesis on "History of film music", he started his own project in 1999 with ''Poison de…'' and then he progressed with various works released on netlabels such as Sine3pm. His latests "Je déchire l'ongle aux criminels" and "To the Naked Eye" (released Jan 10 2008) were published on Muertepop records.
His music, entirely instrumental, combines delightfully smooth ambient melodies, field recordings and various electronic instrumentations and glitches, providing a unique and intimate approach to the musical subject.
