Biography
"Mary Bery" is a new duo of alternative music, formed in 2013. Mary Bery consists of Haris Berberian, (composer, producer), and Mary Chris, (singer, author). Mary has Cypriot and Anglo-Saxon origins, Haris has Greek-Armenian.
Mary has been singing since her childhood but at 17 years old, the death of her best friend, guitarist, upsets her life and her dream. She stops singing for several years but nonetheless directed toward music by her studying. Her desire to sing suddenly reappears, during a jazz concert at the Duc Lombards in Paris. From that time, she created a group and gives concerts.
Haris passionate of Rock, Trip Hop and Film Music, sets up his own studio, after completing his musical studies at the Conservatoire. He then works for the French Television and Broadcasting, while producing in parallel different personal projects. As his artistic dream remains unfinished, he needs a singer to complete it. As soon as they meet with Mary, they realize they’re complementary. They have started working since and Mary Bery is born very quickly after that.
