Biography

Mastermynd is a Brooklyn emcee hailing from Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He's dubbed as Rap's Savior by some of his fans. Born Darius Williams on Saturday February 18, 1984. Since Mastermynd began writing lyrics he has become a successful battle rapper having won all five battle competitions he participated in. In April Mastermynd worked up enough money to pay for studio time. He used the studio time to write and record "Three the Hard Way", the song that would land him a deal. Mastermynd then met Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who hired him as a hype man for a promotional tour for MC Hot Rod, until a deal was written up to make Mastermynd an official member of G-Unit. In late September that deal was put on the table, Mastermynd had no other choice but to sign it. Shortly after Mastermynd signed the deal that made him a G-Unit Soldier he began to realize he was being ripped off. Mastermynd then confronted 50 Cent about the situation and a fight broke out. With the same hand Mastermynd used to hold a mic his whole life, he used to throw a single punch at 50 Cent. As soon as 50 Cent hit the ground a group of bodyguards swarmed Mastermynd. Although Mastermynd was only on G-Unit for a few weeks he had recorded 12 songs with the little studio time he was given. Each of the 12 masters were destroyed by 50 Cent. Within day's of leaving G-Unit Mastermynd was set-up and shot 7 times. He arrived in the hospital on Sunday October 8th with 7 bullets in his body and a minor concussion. After being in a coma Mastermynd defied all odds by waking up on Friday the 13th of October. A few day's after leaving the hospital Mastermynd's best friend was shot in a drive-by shooting while driving MasterMynd's car. Mastermynd's debut album will be Oraculum, which is currently in the works. The album will feature "Guerrilla Warfare", a G-Unit diss track that he promises will be the best and realest diss track in recent years. He vowes to expose and destroy the careers of every member of G-Unit. Mastermynd has a supportive following around Brooklyn and promises to bring rap back to where it should be. In late October of 2006 acclaimed rapper, The Game heard about Mastermynd. The Game had Mastermynd flown out to California. After Mastermynd was around Game for a few days The Game offered him a deal with Black Wall Street, The Game's label, Mastermynd gladly accepted the deal. Mastermynd now resides in Los Angeles, CA only a few miles away from Game's Glendale, CA home. "It's not about East, West, North, or South. It's about Hip-Hop."

He died on January 27, 2007 R.I.P.
