Stoner Rock is an odd tag for their music. I get that Chriss Goss produced Kyuss and other acts who are labeled Stoner Rock and therefore is connected to that term but "MOR" and Stoner Rock? I don't hear the highly fuzzed out droning guitars. I think that their music is rather a mix of Blues Rock and at times even Country Rock.

"At the time I was listening to Black Sabbath five hours a day, all the time. Just constantly. That low end that they got, man, it's addictive. It just chugs ya." - Chris Goss

This band deserves so much more attention. Is there any way we can boost the amount of people who listen to this quickly?

They formed in my hometown, Syracuse, NY, in 1981. By the mid-eighties they were huge locally and their shows at a popular area venue, the Lost Horizon, were a must-see. A friend and myself met Chris Goss and Tim Harrington at their apartment to do a free-lance article for a local publication and they were as cordial as could be and hung-out and partied with us following the interview. Here's video of the original band lineup in 1986 at The Lost (Chris-vocals / Tim-guitar / Googe-bass / Mr. Owl-keyboards): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3AF2F07BB379351D

Just got the latest album, and it was actually quite good. They've borrowed heavily from Qotsa, but Chris Goss still churns out fantastic hard rock.

It's tragic that of all the bands that have benefited from Joshua Homme's rise to fame, this one has gotten the least amount of attention.
