Biography
Mauro Corona (Pinè (TN), 9 August 1950) is a writer, sculptor and climber from Italy.
Corona was born on the truck parents Friulian Domenico Corona and Lucia Filippin, vendors, on the road that leads to Pinè Trent. After the first few years of childhood spent in the Trentino family returned to the country of origin, Erto (PN), where the first person lives in the tragedy of Vajont. From grandfather sculptor has inherited his passion for wood and hunter father's passion for the peaks.
As a climber (he opened numerous routes in the Dolomites) and now he's a well known writer.
His first and best-known book is The flight of marten (translated into Chinese).
