Why people like Mgla so much? Genuine question. I tend to enjoy orthodox black metal, melodic black metal and polish black metal—should be an ideal fit for me. Yet, compared to, say, Blaze of Perdition, Mgla is just... okay? Nothing wrong with it, I just never got the hype this band gets.

Mgła is trve NSBM -> Noble Superior Black Metal. You've to be both to get it. but seriously though earworm riffs, delicious crispy drums, lack of pretension and an almost single-minded devotion to creating and maintaining los atmospherics just sorta elevates them. at least that's what I think.
