Michael Bundesen (born May 12, 1949) is the lead singer of Shu-bi-dua. He went to school in Tårbæk and continued his secondary education at Ordrup Gymnasium. Then he completed the first part of law school. In the years 1968-1969, he was in the Navy.
In 1973, he released, along with guitarists Michael Hardinger, Paul Meyendorff, drummer Bosse Hall Christensen and bassist Niels Grønbech, single Fed Rock / Blues Thin with Bundesen as lead singer. The single was a huge success. The band, named Shu-bi-dua, were originally to have been a one-off achievement, but instead they released an album called Shu-bi-dua. The success continued, and Michael Bundesen was the lead singer until 1984, when he was offered a job as program director at the then new TV station Kanal 2 in Copenhagen. In 1987, Bundesen went back to Shu-bi-dua, and has been with them ever since.
From his first marriage he has two children, whose names are Nanna and Nicholas.
