Rock With You - Single Version

“Rock With You” was the second single from Off the Wall. It was written by British songwriter Rod Temperton, who had hands in the creation of various Michael Jackson songs, including this album’s #10-peaking title track and Thriller’s #4 peaking title track.

The track garnered major commercial success, peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1980, and being ranked as the fourth biggest song of 1980. The song was also successful overseas, reaching #1 in Spain and the top 40 in New Zealand, Italy, The Netherlands, Australia and the UK.

In 2006, “Rock With You” was released once again as a single for the compilation album Visionary: The Video Singles.
