Biography
Bengt Mikael Stanne (born May 20th, 1974 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is the the current lead singer, lyricist and former rhythm guitarist of melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity.
He was the original singer for the heavy metal band Hammerfall from 1993 until 1996 after which he was replaced because he could not perform with them due to his commitment to Dark Tranquillity.
Stanne has also provided the work for In Flames' debut Lunar Strain as a session vocalist.
