Biography
Mindwalk Blvd is a young band out of Boston known for their impressive three part harmonies and highly polished skills on their instruments. Now, with combined YouTube views of over 2 million, they continue to gain fans worldwide. What sets them apart from other acts, is the fact that each member had started their musical career in grade school or earlier. Jordan started recording and performing songs with his father at the age of 5 and touring throughout Europe. Tyler started performing in live shows with his father's band beginning at the age of 6 and appearing in commercials and TV shows. Mike started playing at the age of 6 and was performing with major artists at the age of 10, having appearances on TV and attending regular adult classes at Berklee at the age of 14.
Jordan, Mike and Tyler met up over 4 years ago because of a similar love for progressive rock and began writing and recording their own material from influences such as Rush, Dream Theater, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Kings X, Queen, UK and Yes, and added a modern twist from influences like Tool, Muse, Porcupine Tree, Avenged Sevenfold etc.
They have recently been voted in as "The Best Unsigned Band in Boston" through on-line votes at Pick the Band which earned them a recording contract with Hollywood producer Mudrock (Andrew Murdock - Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack) and signed to the Pick the Band label.
The press has referred to them as a "Modern Day Kansas" or "The Next Generation's Rush".
