Good music is still good music regardless of who made it. Well within the right context that is. It doesnt make you a bad person for listening to it. And even so he's dead anyway its not like you're gonna be still supporting him or anything. Not trying to say you're wrong in your thinking but it doesnt really make sense to me personally. This isn't about support, quality of music or morality. This is about what art is. Art achieves transformation through connection. If you don't connect or it doesn't transform you, then it's not art. Separating the art from the artist is nonsense invented by greedy conformists who have no beliefs or principles, nor do they understand or care about art. There is no art without the artist, they're one and the same. Knowing Prodigy was supportive of a child molester is bad enough, but knowing he believed in this retarded shit makes me unable to connect with him on any level. In my eyes it devalidates anything of value he's ever said, because what I assumed to be intelligent has revealed itself to have been merely cryptic. It were my own projections that made it seem intelligent. And the cryptic hides behind it plain ignorance.
