Montane District is the ambient music project of creative collaborators, Ross Buswell (@atmospherics) and Paul McNeill (@newchannelmusic). They're a Northsilver Imprint recording artists. Cinematic, ambient soundscapes inspired by natural earth and universe environments featured in Ross’s photography and by the universe as a whole. Music created in the classic ambient spirit of musicians like, for example, Brian Eno, Harold Budd. Music that reaches to make an emotional connection on the same level as the visual art. These are soundtracks to the images.
