Biography
Since time began, creating music has been a therapy to (and some might say cause of) addiction. So it was only logical that with a heavy bass addiction caused by hanging out in the filthier side of clubland that Curtamos would turn to beats as a way to satisfy his dark side. Looks like we all benefitted too, with some huge bootlegs that were guaranteed to rock any big room Curtamos started to make his name, deejaying alongside the likes of Benga, Pinch and Joker and gaining releases on various labels worldwide such as Abducted, Betamorph, Robo-Neotech and Step Express. His original productions proved a hit from the start with no less than 3 releases in the Juno Top 10 at the same time plus plays across BBC Radio 1 and many an online station. He eventually gained his own show on seminal station Dubstep.FM and was invited to a do a live mix for Bethan Elfyn on her weekly Radio 1 outing.The addiction has since grown into an uncontrolable habit and Curtamos has a number of new tunes set for release, moving into a deeper sound but still maintaining that big room pull and knowing when to drop a megaton bass bomb on a crowd. Expect big things from this man in future.
