Biography
My Instant Lunch is a mildly theatrical, space-minded rock band that was formed in Augusta, GA in 2008. The principal members are:
Danny Rankin (bass, lead vocal)
Michael Ray (keys, vocals)
Jordan Lucas (guitars, vocals)
Adam Kronowski (drums, vocals)
Origins
The band started when Rankin and Ray met at a local jazz jam session and quickly realized their common interest in rock music, conspiracy theories and bizarre musical experimentation. The two started writing songs together at Rankin's home. Shortly after, Lucas joined the band and the group enlisted the help of drummer Corey Baxter to complete the mix. The group quickly wrote the songs that would become their debut EP, "Tales of Woah."
Baxter amicably left the group in early 2009 but was replaced by Adam Kronowski, a talented young drummer who was one of Ray's students at a local high-school. The band has spent their time in 2009 touring in support of "Tales of Woah" as well as writing new material for their upcoming full-length EP.
