My Starving Lion is the brain child of front man and songwriter Adam Spanier. From its beginnings, My Starving Lion has been a carefully crafted invention created to entertain the fans in every facet, from the music to the video, the live shows to the promotions. It’s all about showing the fans a good time.
“The name comes from a dream. In this dream, I found a dying lion. I nursed it back to health, but as it grew, it started following me everywhere. Eventually I couldn’t feed it enough, so it ate me.”
“These lions are everywhere, and the name serves as a reminder of why I’m here; what I’m doing. This is about the fans, about the music, about getting into peoples lives and making a difference. It’s not about the fame, the money and the things that take control of lives and ruin them.
The Sound:
My starving lion covers a wide assortment of musical influence ranging from epic compositions like Solus and Revelation to Love Songs like Starlight and Lullaby, loneliness and sorrow through Long Lost Son and Everything, to chest pounding dance hits Delirium and It’s Okay to Dance. The album runs the gamut of Electro Pop and Top 40’s Pop music.
