Mystic Tea Party defies genre boundaries. Their fusion of trip hop, downtempo, dream pop, and electronic rock, results in a sound that is atmospheric and driving.
At the heart of the band is Melbourne local Blume, the songwriter and vocalist, and Polish-Australian Sebastian; the mastermind behind the production. Blume's emotive vocals and lyrics, with Sebastian's expressive soundscapes, draw inspiration from the 90’s and early 2000’s. Mystic Tea Party weaves together a tapestry of ethereal sound that evokes nostalgia, feeling both timeless and contemporary.
