Nükhet Duru is a Turkish pop music singer, born on June 26, 1954. She began her professional career in 1971 as a vocalist in the dance music orchestra. Her first single "Beni Benimle Bırak" was released in 1975 and in 1977 her first album "Bir Nefes Gibi" was released. She was awarded as the best performer and female vocal in the very same year. In 1978, she was awarded the first prize in the Seoul Song Contest with the Modern Folk Trio (Modern Folk Üçlüsü).

She is regarded as among the first five divas of Turkish Pop Music along with Ajda Pekkan, Nilüfer, Sezen Aksu and Zerrin Özer.
