Biography
NIRC was a young punkrock-band from Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Their music was a combination of energy, emotion and beautiful melodies. Fast, heavy music with a poppy vibe. Think Saves The Day meets Lagwagon meets The Used.
In April 2003 NIRC released their fifth cd: "Everyone Reacts Differently (but they all feel the same)". This is the first release of independent label Stuck In A Day Records.
With their previous releases and many, many live shows, NIRC built a good reputation in the Dutch punkrockscene. NIRC has superloyal fans and is part of a very friendly scene. They've played shows with great bands like Travoltas, Green Lizard and The Apers. NIRC has won several bandcontests and they've been headliner for skatefestivals and punknights.
NIRC has had positive reviews in magazines such as GUN, Funtime and LiveXS. Major labels like Universal have shown interest, but NIRC will stick to the do it yourself-attitude until they are experienced enough for the big bad music-bizznizz.
