Portuguese-British singer/songwriter Nessi Gomes channels influence from both sides of her ethnicity as she intimately blends the essence of traditional Portuguese music (Fado) with modern British inspiration. Some of her major influences have been from the likes of Kate Bush, Bjork, Beth Gibbons to portuguese fado singer Amalia Rodrigues. Fuelled by a belief in the transformative quality of music and expression, her song writing is infused with her personal journey and carried by hauntingly and hypnotic beautiful tones which transcend, nourish and disarm. She manages to completely captivate her audience until they are drinking in her words and eating out of the palm of her hand.
