What do you get if you mix: Punk/Ska/Hardcore beats, a trumpet ,a trombone, a Zombie Movie, a B-Movie, D.I.Y. beliefs, English, Spanish, anti-society/anti-fashion thoughts and the energy of 5 guys playing instruments?
well, you get:
Niño Zombi
One of the most hardworking D.I.Y. bands and one of the first ones in playing true Ska/Punk in Mexico City. They have been creating their own and unique style: "Zombie PunXka" which musically involves Punk, Hardcore, and Ska with lyrics about society in general related with Walking ZOMBIES from the movies … a Zombie doesn't know he's Dead…Society is Dead in the System.
Their Goal as a band, always has been to promote this genre and help to quit all the bullshit that has been created by fake bands in Mexico City, doing it by themselves.
They have played shows in cities from Mexico like Morelos (Cuernavaca), Puebla, Hidalgo (cd sahagun),Queretaro, Guanajuato (irapuato, leon and salamanca), Chihuahua, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi, Sinaloa (Los Mochis), Quintana Roo (Cancun) and Yucatan (Merida)
They have opened shows for Schizm, SuperZero, The Casualties, Destruction Made Simple, La Plebe,Los Kung-Fu Monkeys, Marky Ramone, Death Mold, Stza Crack, Union 13(hardcore band from East Los Angeles California) , Left Alone, Krush Klamath, Wisecracker
Along with Stza Crack they formed a band called "The Crack Rock Steady Siete", they play Choking Victim and Leftover Crack songs, as well as their own.
